CBH Consultants receives Cognos Pinnacle Award, hires manager to run day-to-day operations

— CBH honored for role in Cognos' ongoing channel sales success worldwide. —

Laguna Hills, CA, July 28, 2004 - CBH Consultants recently hired Carrie Doty as practice manager, and received the Pinnacle Award as one of Cognos Corporation's top Solution Providers.

Doty's responsibilities include administration, operations, employee skill development and overall management of implementations and customer projects. CBH has more than 100 customers throughout the West, and delivers budgeting, financial reporting and accounting solutions based on software from Cognos, Microsoft Business Solutions and FRx Software.

CBH received the Pinnacle Award at the Cognos Global Partner Summit in Orlando, FL. The award honors top Solution Providers, such as CBH, for their role in Cognos' ongoing channel sales success worldwide. Partners are recognized for their success with the Cognos solution based on an understanding of the technology, sales performance, and value-add. The award is given to partners who have achieved a set of criteria including:

• Licenses sold or influenced by the partner, and revenue generated;
• The number of license transactions in which the partner was involved;
• Partners' investment of manpower and commitment to the corporate performance management (CPM) market;
• Customer satisfaction with partner implementations;
• The ability to complement Cognos sales and services organizations.

CBH provided consulting and implementation services to XX customers during the one-year award period. CBH implemented Cognos software for the following customers during this period including Patagonia, Red Robin, IMPAC Corporation and [who else?]. CBH also implemented Cognos-based solutions at several large, highly-visible clients who do not wish to be identified.

Doty has had her own consulting firm since 1995 providing services such as project management, needs analysis, database design and administration, network design and administration and enterprise-wide software implementation. Recently she has worked with non-profit clients such as Union Rescue Mission and United Way of Greater Los Angeles. At the United Way, her most recent engagement, she was project manager overseeing the IT staff and managing all IT related projects.
